Breaking: Valverde out for El Classico

Fede Valverde will be OUT for El Clásico on doctors' advice after hitting his head during a physical altercation following training, @abrahampromero reports.

Doctors have advised Valverde not to train or play for at least one week after the blow to the head he suffered, the report says.

According to @theathletictc, the incident started after a strong tackle from Valverde on chouaméni during training. Following a verbal argument, the situation reportedly turned physical.

Valverde then fell and hit his head on a table in the dressing room. He was taken to hospital but has since returned home.

Real Madrid confirmed to The Athletic that an incident had taken place and that Valverde was hospitalised.
